Dear all,
May I notify you that I will be moving to anthony-s-lam.blogspot.com as a substitute to my xanga.

Since I bought and started using an Apple computer, friends kept telling me that my xanga entries became invisible. Perhaps xanga does not work so well with Apple, like some people not with others, so I made this decision to move to somewhere else, either for some fresh air, or some new stimulation. The process of moving is not always smooth, for one needs to get familiar with a new system. However, if I could move from MS Windows to Macintosh, why not another change?

Thank you all very much for the support in these several years. You are the reason and energisers of mine to carry on with blogging. It was not a fully easy path, because every now and then I found my life not really special to be shared with others. However, still I met many people from around the world who are interested in frequenting my blog.

The society of weblog is a miniature of the bigger society. People visit some blogs, move to some else, and keep changing their minds. In reality, human lives are simply similar. One has the freedom to visit anywhere they like, but they may not stay there for very long. When they got bored, or fed up, with the existing place or people, they move to somewhere or someone else. This reminds me of a famous Romantic poem "Mutability". To be frank, nobody likes to stay somewhere for ever without even questioning why they have to.

To end, please accept my greatest gratitude to you all; and please, wish me all luck in the move and, most importantly, in life.

I'm afraid I'm no longer into writing now... When I picked up my pen, my fingers on my keyboard literally, last time for the magazine I wrote for, I suddenly felt that even I could write, it wouldn't be a good piece, at least it was not gonna be as good as the ones I had written before.

I did some psychological evaluations on facebook, and it seems to me that my personality and characteristics really did change after the massive destruction more or less three months ago. Am I cold? I'm not quite certain about that, but what I can ensure everybody is that I now feel a bit out of all happenings on earth, even if those relate to me, I seem just unwilling to give a damn on it, not even a leer.

Although I speak English on an everyday basis, I truly feel that my English standard is actually deteriorating. What I have long been proud of myself - my English standard - stops to give myself the confidence I need for my daily combat. I would like so much to pull my socks up, but I suspect I'm now in a phase which linguists call "fossilisation". Just make sure my Linguistics professors don't see it, or they'll tease me by commenting it my laziness instead of psychological problem.

Some astrological observer - fortune teller - whatever you would call them, told me that I was born in a wrong landscape. The fucking body of mine should be put more correctly in the northern to northwestern parts of the world, that is: Canada, Britain, ?Denmark, ?Norway, ?the Netherlands... People may say I'm irresponsible by saying this, but I just don't like life here, can't I? Do I need to report my duty to you guys while I am simply living my darn own life?

People waste 4 years in university in order to get a nobody-knows-whether-useful-or-trash diploma just to make their shitty path of life less shitty. This is like a cancer patient consuming excessive anesthesia just to make death less scary. The fact is funny because you are watching horror films with your staring eyes veiled! What is the fun here? Not much. There's just no fun in life, at least those lived here.

And one more thing: If you guys really abide to stupid regulations like those of the University of Asia's Las Vegas, then go fucking protest about their moving your job opportunities to Hengqin Island. If you don't god-damn dare to speak up just because you love your cursed job so much, then go find your own pigeon hole and place all your reputation there. Monte Carlo of the Orient is not going to have a future, no matter bright or dark, in your hands.

I have all the time put confidence in myself and trust in others. I don't even care whether I will be cheated, since I think there's no problem for what I do means what I see in the world. I think people are trustworthy, and the world is just. However, things gradually changed in the course of my growth. People started to become pretentious. Somehow they said it was I who changed, instead of them. If that is true, then I would probably apologise for what I did. I dare apologise for any wrong I have done, since I know people, more precisely friends, are the most valuable possessions in my life. There's just nothing that can substitute them.

What I reckoned these days, even though I don't want to admit, is that I have long been played with.

You know what, there is just no balance in the world, because in human interaction you simply can't achieve what you call "equilibrium". When you do all to please someone, they probably would take it for granted, and make you do even more to please them. They don't ever think that they really need to adjust their, economically speaking, desire, to relieve your stress a bit. It is always you who care too much about the others, and who try not to make anybody stressed or provoked. At some point in the relationship, you start to feel exhausted by trying so hard just to make the other party happy, or at least, not angry. What is ironic is that the other party never thought about managing their emotions. They can be so easily provoked by a little joke, or just a small decision that does not suit their expectation. They simply evade from talking with you to get a better decision that suits all in the group. They get angry; they walk away; and yet most sarcastically, you apologise.

Who made that mistake?
